Dennis Ralph Churchill, 88, beloved husband of Patricia, loving father of Peter and Pola, grandfather of Katherine, Christina and David, father-in-law to Wendy and great grandfather to Rachel, Johnny and Gabriel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 21^st November 2018 in Portsmouth after a period of palliative care.  After a successful naval career, Lieutenant Commander Churchill worked for a while in business before managing his own computing business prior to his retirement.  The archetypal English gentleman, Dennis was respected and loved for his great gift of empathy towards people, kindness and sense of humour; for his meticulous attention to detail and his organisational skills.  He will always be remembered as the most generous and charming of men and will be greatly missed.
